CELEBRITY HAIRSTYLE TRENDS

The fashion trends and hairstyles of celebrities can be seen and found all over Hollywood and even in India’s Bollywood. In fact, you can watch any TV show or movie and you will see it there.
Simply put, these celebrities have placed their fashion trends and hairstyles on the world stage and at public functions such as social gatherings, the Internet, fashion magazines and even at award shows.

Jennifer Aniston

Furthermore, the hairstyles that many celebrities wear is a extension of what they wear. For an example of this statement, it was the actress, Jennifer Aniston, who gave birth to the ‘sedu’ hairstyle.

Charlize Theron

This hairstyle became easier to do after the invention of the sedu flat iron, which made it easier for the hair to achieve a longer, natural and softer look. Also, ‘sedu’ hairstyles can be short as well.

Mandy Moore

Furthermore, the fact that ‘sedu’ hairstyles were not popular before actress Jennifer Aniston began to wear it, but became popular after the fact is puzzling when you think about it. One answer to this is the fact that Jennifer Aniston has natural hair that is straighter and smoother than most other female celebrities. Others say it is the sedu iron that makes Jennifer Aniston’s hair the way it is.

For female celebrities with short hair, turn to actresses such as Charlize Theron, Mandy Moore, Keira Knightley and Nicole Richie, whose hairstyles are light, sassy and comfortable. Each of these actresses have their own unqiue version of short hair and each of them stands out no matter where they go.

Halle Berry

But there is another actress that is considered to be the ‘queen of short hair.’ She is actress Halle Berry, who played in award-winning films such as “Monster’s Ball’ (2000), “Gothika” (2003) and “Introducing Dorothy Dandridge” (1998).

For celebrities with mid-length hair, look to actresses such as Gwen Stefani, Cameron Diaz and Kate Winslet who have made mid-length hair glamorous and fashionable.

And for the Bollywood celebrities that have fashionable hair, they are Priyanka Kapoor, Aamir Khan, Preeti Zinta and Rani Mukherjee, who have made the biggest fashion and hairstyle statements in the Indian film industry.

Keira Knightley would never leave the house without her underwear

Keira Knightley would never leave the house without her underwear.
The 'Pirates of the Caribbean' actress admits being a celebrity isn't easy, but insists fame is not an excuse to be caught going 'commando' in public.

Keira told Empire magazine: "The whole celebrity thing is not magic. They are just real people proving they are sluttier than everybody else because they don't wear any knickers."

The 22-year-old actress continued her thinly veil swipe at young female celebrities like Britney Spears and Lindsay Lohan - who have both been photographed without underwear and have checked into rehab several times this year - by slamming stars who are photographed drunkenly staggering out of nightclubs.

Keira said: "I'm not going to get blind drunk and then stumble out of a club and fall over and vomit in front of people. I'm not saying I don't do that in private, but I try not to."

Meanwhile, Keira appeared at the Venice Film Festival yesterday (29.08.07) looking stunning in an ivory and peach strapless gown.

She is hoping her new movie 'Atonement' - which premiered at the festival - will be as successful as the Oscar-winning British film 'The Queen'.More about Keira Knightley's underwear slam

Keira Knightley - "It's not me, it's make-up!"

Actress Keira Knightley admits that her all time gorgeous looking face is the result of airbrushing and make up.

According to Radio Times, the 22-year-old insisted that fans should not be obsessed with her looks.
The actress also revealed that she was frightened seeing kids captivated by fame.

"It frightens me when kids go 'I want to be famous'," she told the Radio Times.

"Why? Because you can get into a restaurant? You know what? If you book, you can get into a restaurant! 'I want to be rich and famous.' Go and work on the stock market,” she said.

Meanwhile, the Oscar nominated actress agreed with critics who said her acting in debut film ‘Bend It Like Beckham’ was bad.

"I completely agreed on every level. I didn't go to drama school, so I didn't get the training. It was difficult to get over that: 'What am I doing? I'm pretending that I can do this and everybody's telling me I can't',” she said.

Keira Knightley is ready to party – with her cast and crew of Atonement, which topped the list of Golden Globe nominees on Thursday, with seven nods, including one for herself and another for her leading man, James McAvoy, as well as for the WWII drama itself, as best picture.

"It's just so exciting that we've got nominated in so many categories," the British actress, 22, tells the Associated Press. "There's such a big group of us that can get to go together. It will be a real celebration for the film. It will be a wonderful night."
Atonement's supporting actress nominee Saoirse Ronan is all of 13
years old. The Dublin-born teen, currently in Pennsylvania to shoot her new movie The Lovely Bones, tells PEOPLE: "I started doing films two years ago [but] I never expected anything like this would happen. It's really lovely."

Staying Grounded
Regarding any career advice Knightley might have given her, Ronan says, "When we were in Venice [for the film festival], she let my dad know that there was going to be a lot of events and that I should keep myself grounded, and I think that's the best advice that anyone in Keira's position can give you."
As for the reaction from her school pals, Ronan says, "You really find out who your friends are, because they stick by you and they don't act all strange. But I have really supportive friends and no matter how long I've been gone, they treat me like I've been there all along."

Scottish actor McAvoy, 28, for whom Atonement provides a star-making role, says in a statement, "It's a huge thrill to see [the film] embraced by the" Hollywood Foreign Press Association.

Kudos to Viggo
Viggo Mortensen was also nominated for his dramatic leading role, in Eastern Promises. Congratulating his leading man, the film's director, David Cronenberg, said, "For me, there was only one actor who could powerfully convey the lead character Nikolai's many subtleties." The nomination for the 49-year-old actor is, according to Cronenberg, "perfect and exciting."

Not that all is merry and bright in Hollywood. With the strike by the Writers' Guild of America now more than a month old, and with no solution yet in sight, Grey's Anatomy nominee Katherine Heigl, 29, tells Entertainment Tonight, "I'm not crossing the picket line – not unless I'm contractually obliged to do so – which [with] the Golden Globes I'm not."

The Globes are due to be broadcast over NBC on Jan. 13.

Keira Knightley Shows Her Bangs

Keira Knightley is showing off the effects of her latest trip to the salon.

Looking a little bit ‘ballerina-like,’ the “Pirates of the Caribbean” showed up at the premiere of her new film “Atonement” last night in Beverly Hills, California. She wore a Rodarte dress and some fun two-tone high heels.

Knightley is quickly becoming a new style icon for the up-and-coming generation. In the latest issue of “Interview,” the British babe appears in a seductive photo shoot, showing off her curves.

It’s a 1940’s pin-up-style layout, and apparently her tendency for near-nakedness is a point of joking among her friends. She told press, “My friends actually have bets on whether I can do a photoshoot and keep my clothes on – and I can’t at the moment. I find it vaguely liberating. You will probably see pictures of me soon walking down the street naked.”

biography, pictures and videos
Keira Knightley is definitely more than a pretty face and a Natalie Portman look-alike. Playing the role of a damsel who can save people in distress in the said flick made her a subject of envy of most actresses and teenage girls. Why? Middlesex, England to parents who are both playwrights and actors. At an early age, having the same artist's genes that her parents have, Ms. Knightley has been gracing the European TV in her roles in several made-for TV movies. But it was in Star Wars: Episode 1 - The Phantom Menace that people all around the globe first took notice of her. Moreover, her career skyrocketed to success after being a part of the Disney movie Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl. Since then, she has been casted in blockbuster movies like Love Actually, which stars Liam Neeson, Hugh Grant, and Emma Thompson. Today, fans are waiting for the third sequel of the famous Disney flick titled Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End, with the same cast plus the returning Geoffrey Rush and Chow Yun Fat.
