Jian Bo falls in love with her at first sight but is sad to learn that she has already had a boyfriend. To He Xiu’s surprise, Xi Kang has had a new lover in Shanghai who is the daughter of a rich family and their engagement becomes a nightmare. In desperate sadness, she decides to jump off the building to end her life but comes across a traffic accident by chance. During her coma, Jian Bo who has just seen her once in the flight gives his helpful hand which is concealed to He Xiu. After suffering from love losses, He Xiu is eager to do well in everything. So she decides to stay in Shanghai and make friends with the landlady Barrel (Shui Tong) in the neighboring hairdressing shop. He Xiu looks for a job all the way at Barrel’s help but fails. Thanks to great psychological pressure, she suffers “Alopecia” and becomes bareheaded overnight. Since no company would like to employ a bareheaded girl, He Xiu decides to try her fortune in Jian Bo’s company at desperation. To her surprise, the recruitment staffs mistake her as a boy and agree to employ “him”. Therefore, He Xiu changes her name into Ma He. Fortunately, Jian Bo did not recognize her but just feels such a handsome face looks familiar and kind. Thanks to Ma He’s prominent working performance, “he” is promoted as the special assistant to Jian Bo. Due to “his” outstanding capability and competence at taking charge of a department alone, “he” wins many favours of the girls in the company. Whereas “Ma He” falls in deep love with Jian Bo, who actually knows nothing about business (he is crazy about art) even though he is the general manager. With a competent assistant, Jian Bo devotes himself to the creation of artworks ignoring his finance Jiang Ranran. Dramatically, Ranran is in favour of the excellent Ma He and falls in love with “him” gradually. In order to collect money for the treatment of the son Diu’er of Brarrel, “Ma He” goes to sing in the night club to earn the money. Jian Bo runs across her during performance and moved by her tenderness it draws him to miss He Xiu in the flight. With the money ready and the successful operation of Diu’er, “He Xiu” ends her day working and night singing. She returns to dedicate herself to the Jian family company. Jian Bo’s artworks wins a big prize in London which accelerates his enthusiasm to arts. His father and aunt of Jiang Ranran suggest they marry soon. They are engaged but find that they don’t love each other at that time. Problems arise in the company also. During the investigation,“Ma He” finds XiaKang in charge of West Company, Vice President Zhang and Secretary Qin sell the company’s interests together in secret. Knowing his father is deadly ill and the greatest wish is that he can inherit the company established by his hard work, Jian Bo decides to give up arts and dedicate his life to the enterprise. Xi Kang recognizes He Xiu and threatens to expose her fake identification. But Jian Bo’s sincerity and affection moves her and she decides to stand with Jian Bo hand in hand. The company is saved eventually by exposing XiKang’s conspiracy. However, the company didn’t turn the corner but instead came to the verge of bankruptcy. The local recipe acquired by He Xiu accidentally comes into effect and her hair begins to restore. Under unified efforts, new pilatory is invented and put into the market. The company comes out of hard times. Then bareheaded He Xiu steps into a happy marriage in a wedding dress handed from the bridegroom Jian Bo.
